WESTPORT — The search for a 68-year-old woman, reported missing at midday Monday after she had not been seen since last Friday, was called off when she was located later Monday, police said.
Ans Jepkes was found in Westport, according to an update issued about 10:30 p.m. Monday, and reunited with family.
In launching the missing person investigation for Jepkes earlier in the day, police said there was concern for her well-being because of her “sudden unannounced absence and health issues.”
Before Jepkes was located, she had not been seen since about 8 a.m. Friday in the downtown area, police said.
No other details were released about the incident.
