WESTPORT — An October 2021 case, in which a 46-year-old Westporter faced charges of assault and threatening, has been resolved.

The female complainant told officers that, during the course of an argument, Joshua Wethington had threatened and assaulted her, according to the report. The events were reportedly witnessed by a child, police said.

Wethington was placed under arrest. The misdemeanor charges led to a one-year probation term, which has been fulfilled.
