WESTPORT — The town plans to observe Arbor Day by giving away tree seedlings April 28.
The event, organized by the Tree Board, will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 28, at Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave.
The seedlings will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis from a table set up near the ballfields behind Town Hall.
Each of the seedlings will have planting and care instructions. The program is funded by Eversource Energy, according to the town’s announcement.
