WESTPORT — With snow, mixing with icy precipitation, forecast to continue falling through Tuesday afternoon, Westport public schools’ classes are canceled for the day.
In a message calling off classes at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, Supt. of Schools Thomas Scarice said the snow and icy mix, “Combined with the recent cold temperatures, it has been advised that schools close today.”
All school offices, however, will open at 10 a.m., Scarice said.
