WESTPORT — A forum on antisemitism and other bias problems in the town’s schools has been rescheduled from Tuesday because of the impact expected from a day-long snowstorm forecast for the region.

The forum, “Addressing Incidents of Antisemitism and Bias in our Schools,” was planned in partnership by school district officials and local Jewish clergy.

The new date for the event will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Temple Israel, 14 Coleytown Road.

The forum is being planned in the wake of several incidents that heightened concerns about antisemitic behavior in local schools last year and how administrators addressed the issue. Supt. of Schools Thomas Scarice announced the forum at a recent meeting of TEAM Westport, where he also highlighted other initiatives school officials plan to address the problem.
