WESTPORT — Three Staples High School students have been selected to participate in an international summit of young leaders.

Rebecca Schussheim, Lucia Wang and Tom Zhang will participate in the eighth Normandy International Youth Leadership Summit, which will take place virtually Nov. 16-18.

Participants from around the world were selected because they are “high performing and interested in world affairs,” according to a release from Westport public schools.

Delegates to the summit, in conjunction other students  from across the globe, will exchange ideas and develop action plans to address issues affecting their community and the world, the school release says.
