WESTPORT — Three Staples High School students have been selected as delegates to the 10th “Normandy International Youth Leadership Summit” in France later this year.

Mia Bomback, Ryder Levine and Sam Rossoni, all Staples juniors, will attend the event, meeting with students from around the world to “exchange ideas … [and] develop action plans to address an issue affecting their community and the world,” according to publicity for the summit.

The program will be hosted by the Institution St. Joseph in Le Havre, France, from Nov. 27 to Dec. 1.

Students selected as delegates are “high performing” and “interested in world affairs,” the summit organizers said.
