WESTPORT — Six “Students of the Month” have been selected for May at Staples High School.

They are: senior Logan Manchester, juniors William Vanamee and Julianna Gallo, sophomore Zoe Glekas and freshmen Ellary Lueker and Asher Vengrow.

The students, nominated by teachers, are selected for helping to make the high school “a welcoming place for their peers and teachers alike,” according the announcement.

The citation recognizes the recipients as “all-around good citizens” at Staples, and credits “the positive attitude they bring to school every day in making Staples High School a genial place in which to learn and teach.”
