WESTPORT — A traditional Christmas Lessons and Carols service will take place Dec. 19 at Christ and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.

The candlelit service, featuring the Parish Choir and Middle Choristers, is set for 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, at the church, 75 Church Lane.

There will be a free-will offering to benefit Homes with Home, the Westport-based agency working to help people in need of housing and food assistance.

The Christmas choral program, originated in England at King’s College Cambridge, will be accompanied by harp and organ.

All those attending will be required to wear a mask.
