WESTPORT — “Taste of Westport,” a celebration of Westport’s culinary treats all in one serving, returns May 22 for an 18th year, benefiting CLASP.

The fundraising event will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at the Inn at Longshore, 260 Compo Road South.

Tickets cost $150 per person until April 12 and afterward will be on sale for $175. To reserve tickets online, click here.

Attendees will be able to sample offerings from a wide-ranging menu provided by 24 restaurants, as well as six bars serving specialty cocktails, spirts, wine and beer. Other features will be a vodka and caviar bar, as well as a tequila tasting.

Music will be performed by the Bar Car Band. There also will be a silent auction featuring items donated by local restaurants and businesses.

Proceeds benefit CLASP, a Westport-based nonprofit that provides homes, support and services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“Taste of Westport is not only a celebration of the area’s vibrant food scene, but it is also a testament to the generosity of our community,”  Tracy Flood, the CLASP president, said in a statement announcing the event.

“With the support of our attendees, sponsors and vendors, we can continue to provide loving homes and essential services to over 100 adults with IDD [intellectual and developmental disabilities] throughout Fairfield County,” Flood added.
