WESTPORT–Drivers should prepare for overnight milling and paving on portions of Route 1 and Route 57 beginning soon. 

First up is Post Road East, from Compo Road to the Sherwood Island Connector. Overnight work (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) is slated to run from May 10 through 12 and from May 17 through 21.

The second project is on Route 57 between Compo Road North and the Weston line. Overnight work (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) is slated to run from May 26 through 29 and from May 31 through June 3.

The state advises that these dates are tentative, and adjustments may be necessary due to inclement weather.
