“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and “Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest” will be presented as a double bill Sunday evening at the Remarkable Drive-In, while “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” will be screened later Sunday and “Halloween” will be featured Monday.

WESTPORT — The Remarkable Drive-In scares up Halloween spirits with a movie triple-treat Sunday and more on Monday.

The first show Sunday features a family-friendly duo of not-so-frightful fun, while a later screening cuts right to the heart of horror. On Monday, it’s the movie that gave terror a new name — Michael Myers.

The film fare includes:

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and “Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest,” at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct 30: Two animated Halloween tales celebrate holiday fun, not fright. Doors open at 5 o’clock.

“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30: The very definition of a slasher film, the movie is a terrifying tale about a group of friends traveling through rural Texas who are set upon at an old farmhouse by a murderous family.

The movie is rated R; doors open at 8 o’clock.

“Halloween,” at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31: Fittingly, the Halloween night feature is a 1978 movie by the same name. That shocker has unleashed 12 more sequels (… and counting?) chronicling gore galore wreaked by indestructible maniac Michael Myers — mostly in pursuit of his sister, Laurie.

The movie is rate R, doors open at 6 p.m.

Tickets for any of the movies can be purchased at the Remarkable Theater’s website here.

Ticket proceeds benefit the Remarkable Theater’s goal of opening a nonprofit movie theater in downtown Westport that will employ people with disabilities.
