Proceeds will benefit Staples Tuition Grants, which since 1943 has provided need-based tuition assistance to thousands of Staples High School graduates attending college and vocational programs.
In May 2024, the program awarded $381,500 to 105 students attending 72 institutions of higher learning for the 2024-25 school year. The grants ranged from $1,000 to $7,500.
Will Briggs, a Staples junior organizing the event, said in a statement: “Staples Tuition Grants has helped thousands of Staples graduates to pursue their educational dreams. We are excited for the next generation of students and families to support these life-changing scholarships and have fun while doing it.”
