Homes with Hope seeks food drive donations

WESTPORT — A food drive benefiting Homes with Hope is scheduled Saturday at the local Stop & Shop.

Foods donated will support the food pantry and community kitchen operated by Homes with Hope, the local nonprofit dedicated to helping people at risk of homelessness and hunger in Fairfield County.

The food collection will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the supermarket, 1790 Post Road East. Volunteers from the Westport Sunrise Rotary Club and Police Department will help organize the event and accept donations.

A range of non-perishable foods is being sought, as well as personal care products.
