WESTPORT — A concert showcasing music of the “Flower Power” era will be performed Oct. 14 to benefit CLASP, the Westport-based nonprofit providing residential and support services for people with autism and developmental disabilities.

The concert, “Flower Power: Music from the Generation of LOVE,” will feature Band Central covering a range of musical hits from the 1960s and ’70s.

The event is set for Friday, Oct. 14, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a pre-concert reception at the Fairfield Theatre Company, 70 Sanford St. in Fairfield. Band Central will take the FTC stage at 7:30.

CLASP provides “care, support and inspiration” to 85 people living in its group homes throughout Fairfield County, as well as enrichment programs at the Daniel E. Offutt Arts and Education Community Center in Bridgeport.
