WESTPORT — Help the Staples High School boys soccer team kick off the new season by supporting a car wash Saturday, Sept. 25.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of Christ and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 75 Church Lane.

A sale of baked goods is planned in conjunction with the car wash from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Vehicles brought to the car wash will be scrubbed and cleaned to a high standard by varsity reserve and freshman soccer players, event organizers promise. 

There is no minimum price for the service, but attendees are encouraged to donate generously.

Proceeds help fund team activities, including its annual banquet.
