Concert by Cheryl Wheeler and Kenny White slated Nov. 2 at Voices Café.

WESTPORT — Singer/songwriters Cheryl Wheeler and Kenny White will perform Nov. 2 at Voices Café.

The concert is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the café  in the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport, 10 Lyons Plains Road. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Concert goers can bring their own beverages and snacks; coffee and refreshments will also be sold.

Wheeler, whose songs have been covered by Peter Paul and Mary, Kenny Loggins, Garth Brooks, Bette Midler and others, is also a “a storyteller with a fantastic sense of humor,” according to a publicity release.

White is a pianist, performs on guitar and has “become more known for his clever lyrics,” the release says.
