WESTPORT — “Anything Can Happen!” described as the “serendipitous” story of performer Jean Louisa Kelly’s life in and out of show business, will be presented April 4 at the Westport Country Playhouse.
The show, one of the theater’s “Mic in Hand” story-telling presentations, will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the playhouse, 25 Powers Court. Tickets can be reserved in advance online by clicking here.
Kelly, who resides in Westport and is known locally as Jean Pitaro, is an actress, singer and dancer who will recount her journey “from small-town New England to Hollywood and Broadway,” according to publicity for the show.
Her performing credits include the original Broadway cast of “Into the Woods,” and the movies “Mr. Holland’s Opus,” “Uncle Buck” and “Top Gun: Maverick.” On television, she appeared in the sitcoms “Yes, Dear” and “Mad About You.”
She also composed and performed all the songs in her EPs, “Willing” and “Relax, Nothing is Under Control,” and her children’s album, “Color of Your Heart.”
