FAIRFIELD – “Roots of Renewal, a short documentary film profiling the global importance of small farms, will be shown on Monday, October 27th at the Rotary Room of the Fairfield Library at 6:30pm.

The documentary was produced in partnership with Sustainable Harvest International, which is also sponsoring the library showing.

Sustainable Harvest is a non-profit organization dedicated to training small-scale farmers in regenerative agricultural practices. It follows Fairfield-native Florence Reed, a founder of Sustainable Harvest, as she travels across Central America and highlights the transformative power of sustainable farming.

Ms Reed will be moderating a discussion after the 30-minute film.
