
WESTPORT — The Nashville blues style of the trio, South for Winter, heads north for spring May 7 with a performance at Voices Café.
The concert is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in the café at the Unitarian Church in Westport, 10 Lyons Plains Road.
The performance will take place both in person and online. To purchase tickets for either option, click here. A portion of the concert proceeds will benefit community organizations through social-justice programs of the Unitarian Church in Westport.
South for Winter is made up of musicians and songwriters New Zealander Nick Stone, Colorado native Dani Cichon, and Alex Stradal from Michigan.
They perform a blend of music described as a “blend of bluesy ballads and dreamy acoustic duets,” according to publicity for the concert, using a combination of cello, guitar, mandolin and three-part harmonies. Fore more information about the band, check its website.
