WESTPORT — A bachelor’s party gone awry, an animated children’s classic and a quirky mom’s story for Mother’s Day light up the Remarkable Drive-In’s big screen this week.

Ticket proceeds benefit the Remarkable Theater’s goal of opening a non-profit movie theater in downtown Westport that will employ people with disabilities.

Thursday, May 5: “The Hangover,” a 2009 comedy starring Bradley Cooper, recounts bachelor party escapades in Las Vegas.

The movie, rated R, will be screened at 8 p.m.; doors open at 6:30.

Friday, May 6: “Dumbo,” a classic Disney cartoon about an aerodynamically inclined elephant with big ears.

The PG-rated movie will be shown at 8 p.m., doors open at 7.

Saturday, May 7: “Mermaids,” stars Cher and Winona Rider as mother and daughter adjusting to new lives.

The 1990 movie, rated PG-13, will be screened at 6 p.m., doors open at 7.
