WESTPORT — Westport Book Shop’s artist of the month exhibit for March features work by mixed media artist George Radwan.

The exhibit can be seen through March 31 during regular business hours at the book store, 23 Jesup Road. The work on display is available for purchase.

Radwan’s exhibit includes birdhouses, which are inspired by shacks he saw years ago in the township of Soweto outside Johannesburg, South Africa.  

Also on display are small, mixed media pieces, assembled from found and repurposed materials.

Radwan is a project manager at VCA Inc., a custom architectural woodworking and furniture company. He previously worked as an art director for advertising agencies in New York.
