WESTPORT — Augmenting its mission to give scholarships and more to the community, the Westport Woman’s Club is hosting its 7th Annual Art Show today (Sunday) from 2-6 p.m.

“We work hard to make money to give it away,” said Leah Scherzer, who chairs the event for the club.

A dozen area artists are featured with paintings, photography and sculpture for sale. The work was curated by local artist Miggs Burroughs.

“I’m a local artist and I like to share my work,” said Tom Kretsch of Westport, whose paintings are featured.

“I think the Westport Woman’s Club does good things with their fundraising events, so it’s nice to be part of it,” he said.
