WESTPORT — “Kaleidoscope,” an exhibition showcasing the creativity of participants in two MoCA CT community initiatives, will open with an Aug. 25 reception.

The reception is set for 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at the museum, 19 Newtown Turnpike. The event will feature food, music and a fashion show. The exhibit runs through Sept. 1.

Art work on display is by participants in the MoCA Summer Camp and MoCA Gives Back programs, who “even though directed in the projects they created, had the opportunity to lead the creative vision of their artworks,” museum officials said in announcing the exhibit.

The exhibit reflects MoCA CT’s mission that “the arts should be accessible to all,” according to publicity for the event. Museum officials said anyone who may need financial assistance with admissions, classes or event registration should contact info@mocawestport.org
