Concert series on Church Lane starts Saturday

WESTPORT — The sound of music will fill downtown starting this weekend, as the annual “Music on Church Lane” concert series kicks off.

The concerts, slated for closed-off Church Lane, get underway from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 1. The first event will feature Amber Anchor, with string band musicians Dan Tressler and Jeff Smith.

Performances, organized by the Westport Downtown Association, continue Friday and Saturday evenings through Sept. 28.
