Cady Huffman and Adam Kaplan will be featured performers at the “Voices for Volunteers of Fairfield County” concert Jan. 24 at the Westport Country Playhouse.

WESTPORT — A concert celebrating area volunteers will be presented Jan. 24 at the Westport Country Playhouse.

“Voices for Volunteers of Fairfield County — An Appreciation Performance” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the theater, 25 Powers Court. It is presented in partnership with Jewish Family Service of Fairfield County.

Featured performers will be Cady Huffman, a Tony Award winner for “The Producers” and Tony nominee  for “The Will Rogers Follies,” and Westport native Adam Kaplan, who has appeared in the “Up Here” series on Hulu and on Broadway in “A Bronx Tale,” “Newsies” and “Kinky Boots.”

Ari Axelrod, cabaret performer featured in “A Place for Us: A Celebration of Jewish Broadway” at the playhouse last May, also will appear.

Master of ceremonies will be comedian Chris O’Neil.

Among the performers scheduled to take the stage are several with ties to Westport, including Mia Gentile, Jacob Heimer and Remy Laifer. Cantors Julia Cadrain and Becky Mann of Temple Israel also will participate.

“The evening of song will honor individuals who volunteer their time in support of organizations throughout our community,” Ben Frimmer, producer and director of the event, said in a publicity release.

“For all that our area volunteers do, our multi-talented cast will celebrate them through music. I couldn’t be more excited to bring in a stellar cast of Broadway professionals who also call Fairfield County their home,” added Frimmer, who also has taught theater arts in Westport public schools nearly three decades and is artistic director of Coleytown Company at Coleytown Middle School.
