The program, “Strings and Asymmetry,” described as a “fusion of styles, instruments and artistic expressions,” is a tribute to the late Chilean folk musician, Victor Jara, commemorating the 50th anniversary of his death, according to a publicity release.

“It’s a celebration of different arts disciplines coming together,” Kristen Young, MoCA’s director of performing arts, said in the statement. “You’ll find yourself immersed in a world where movement and music intertwine to enchant and transport you.”
