WESTPORT — A staged reading of the comedy, “Bad Jews,” will be presented Dec. 12 at the Westport Country Playhouse.
The production, part of the theater’s “Script in Hand” series, will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at the playhouse, 25 Powers Court.
Tickets for the performance cost $20, and can be reserved by clicking here.
The play, written by Joshua Harmon, centers on issues of family, faith and legacy as three cousins vie over an inheritance from their late grandfather, according to playhouse publicity.
Harmon recently co-wrote with Sarah Silverman the Off-Broadway musical, “The Bedwetter.”
The cast includes Jennifer Apple, Ben Fankhauser, Coby Getzug and Maya Musial.
The play reading is directed by Jen Waldman, who said in the publicity release, “As a Jewish woman, I can relate to these characters on such a deep level. But the truth is that anyone who is a part of a family, Jewish or not, will see themselves in this story.”
