WESTPORT–Cameron and Tyler Winkelvoss recently made a donation of $6.2 million to The United States Rowing Association, commonly known as USRowing, the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States.
According to their website, USRowing serves to promote the sport on all levels of competition, including the selection and training of those athletes who represent the US at the international level.
Howard Winkelvoss recently opened a rowing club in Bridgeport, which joins Saugatuck Rowing and his other clubs in Greenwich and Row America in Pittsburgh.
