WESTPORT — A 36-year-old woman faces charges of assaulting an elderly person and risking injuries to a child in connection with a “domestic violence incident” last month, police said.

Tylana Cash, of Westport, was charged April 27 with third-degree assault on an elderly person, risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct.

The incident was reported about 6:30 p.m. April 27, and based on police inquiries, Cash was determined to be “the primary aggressor,” according to the report.

She allegedly pushed an older relative during the course of an argument, causing minor injuries, police said.

Children on the premises during the altercation were “allegedly put at risk of injury” because of Cash’s actions, police said.

Cash was placed under arrest, and unable to post $1,000 bond, was held for arraignment the next day at state Superior Court in Stamford.
