Staples High tennis standouts and top doubles partners Kieran Anand and Jonny Greenspan worked together to capture Connecticut’s Individual State Tournament’s doubles title on Wednesday.
The Wrecker duo, the No. 6 seed in the bracket, finished off the three-day tournament with a win over No. 7 Will Neuenfeldt and Milo Russo of Greenwich, 6-2, 6-2, at Hall High in West Hartford.
The Staples tandem also beat the top seed, from Greenwich, in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
