WESTPORT — The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 12 Bauer Place.
The 1½-story Cape was built in 1948. It has 1,600 square feet of living space, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a basement, garage, wood deck, finished half-story and a finished upper story.
The property traded hands in June for $899,777. It had previously traded for $685,000 in 2013 and for $250,000 in 1986. The property’s current assessment is $385,500.
