WESTPORT — Bewitching Halloween scenes graced windows at 40 businesses around town for the holiday, painted by young artists in the annual “Halloween Window Painting Contest” sponsored by the Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce.
More than 50 children competed in the contest, open to youngsters at the elementary and middle school levels, according to Matthew Mandell, the chamber director.
Contestants’ art work was judged on the basis of several Halloween themes.
