WESTPORT–A woman was arrested after she allegedly attacked another individual with a knife during an argument at a Westport residence on Saturday night, Westport police said.

Police reported to the home shortly after 11 p.m. to investigate a report of a disturbance that had turned physical.

The alleged victim told officers that Rafaela Andrade, 33, had started the argument and escalated it by attacking the victim with a kitchen knife. The victim sustained minor injuries, police said.

Andrade was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and second-degree threatening, all misdemeanors. She was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and is due in Superior Court in Stamford on June 4, 2026.
