WESTPORT — “Pure Imagination,” a musical revue featuring songs adapted from popular Broadway productions, will hit the stage Nov. 16-17 at Coleytown Middle School.

The show, featuring student performers from sixth through eighth grades, will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, and 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at the school, 255 North Ave.

The Coleytown Company’s fall production will feature 14 choreographed songs from Music Theatre International’s Broadway Junior collection. These include selections from “Seussical” and “Shrek The Musical” to Disney favorites like “Beauty and the Beast” and “Frozen.”

Featured numbers will be from shows such as “Willy Wonka,” “Annie JR.,” “Junie B. Jones The Musical JR. and “Elf The Musical JR.”

“I’m always amazed at the talent our Westport students bring to the table,” Ben Frimmer, the director, said in a publicity release. 

“Across all ages, these students light up the stage with their dancing and singing in a way that is not to be missed.”
