NORWALK — Artwork from K-12 students throughout Norwalk will debut in a gallery setting this week as the Citywide Student Art Show returns to town.

Select pieces from student artists will be on view at the Norwalk Art Space, with an opening reception taking place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 21st. The exhibition will remain on view during regular gallery hours through June 4th.

The Citywide Student Art Show is a collaboration between Norwalk Art Space and the Norwalk Public Schools, and gives students a chance to showcase their art in a professional setting. Norwalk Art Space notes how the organization’s late founder, Alexandra D. Korry, was committed to providing opportunities for underserved children to experience creative learning through free art and music education programs.
