WESTPORT–Staples girls soccer keeps rolling along, extending its winning streak to five with a 3-1 Saturday win at Trumbull and improving to 7-2-3 overall.

Riley Gullans scored twice and Alexa Van Aken netted a goal. Emily Shiel, Taylor Lunney and Gullans all had assists in the win over the Trumbull Eagles.

The Wreckers were coming off a 2-0 win over visiting Fairfield Ludlowe on Tuesday — the team’s fourth consecutive shutout victory. Willa Shamie and Addie Talbott had the goals; Van Aken assisted both scored in the win over the Falcons.

Staples visits Danbury Tuesday at 6 p.m.
