WESTPORT — Seniors on Staples High School’s boys swimming and diving team were celebrated following their recent dual meet with New Canaan at home.

They include team captains Max Tanksley, Jacob Lee and Brendan McGinley, and Richard Campbell, Brennan Herold and Matt Lott. The coach is Todd Gordon.

The team, which has two remaining regular season meets with Wilton and Danbury, also is gearing up for the FCIAC championships March 1-3.

Following the team’s loss to New Canaan (final score was 82-96), its overall record stands at 4-4, with victories over Fairfield, Westhill, Darien and Trumbull/St. Josephs, and other losses to Ridgefield, Greenwich and Norwalk.
