FAIRFIELD — Staples girls soccer team bounced back from last Thursday’s 1-1 tie at Fairfield Warde with a 2-0 victory at Fairfield Ludlowe on Monday.
Annabel Edwards and Natalie Chudowsky scored, and Alexa Van Aken and Edwards had assists.
The Wreckers improved to 9-0-1 and picked up their seventh shutout this fall. Ludlowe fell to 7-3-1.
Staples hosts Trumbull at 4 p.m. Friday. (Game schedules are subject to change; click for the latest updates.)
