MIDDLETOWN–Audrey Kercher and Jordana Latzman were Staples’ #1 girls varsity tennis team this year and were invited to compete in the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference Tournament this week.
They have so far dispatched their two opponents, Glastonbury 6-0, 6-4 on Tuesday and Farmington 6-2, 6-3 earlier today.
They will travel back to Middletown tomorrow to face Ludlowe’s Price sisters, Gabbie and Ellie, the top seeded team in the tournament.
