WESTPORT–The Building Department issued a permit to demolish the house at 85 Compo Road N.
The single-story ranch was built in 1950. It has 1,200-square-feet of living space, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a half-bathroom, a basement area, a screen porch and a concrete patio.
The property traded hands in June for $600,000. It had previously traded for $274,750 in 1997. The property’s current assessment is $401,700.
