WESTPORT–The Building Department issued a permit to allow the owners of 8 Pond Edge Road to demolish their house.
The 1¾-story cape was built in 1966. It has 2,800-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, basement area, garage, wood deck, finished half-story, three quarter-story, finished attic expansion and inground pool.
The property traded hands in 2021 for $1,775,000. It had previously traded for $1,450,000 in 2005 and for $372,500 in 1986. The property’s current assessment is $1,145,200.
Pond Edge Road is off of Hillspoint Road.
