WESTPORT — The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 6 Morningside Lane.
The 1½-story ranch was built in 1939. It has 1,000 square feet of living space, two bedrooms, one bathroom, a basement area, a garage, an open porch and an unfinished half-story.
The property traded hands last month for $850,000. The property’s current assessment is $342,700.
Morningside Lane is off Morningside Drive North.
