WESTPORT–The Historic District Commission in May approved the issuance of a permit to demolish the house at 48 Woodside Avenue.

The 2-story conventional was erected in 1920. It has 1,900-square-feet of living space, a crawl space, a wooden deck, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a finished upper-story and an unfinished attic.

The property traded hands in February for $977,500. It had previously traded for $780,000 in 2021 and for $169,000 in 1983. The property’s current assessment is $487,100.

Woodside Avenue is between Kings Highway and Stony Brook Road.
