WESTPORT–The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 38 Prospect Road.
The two-story conventional was built in 1932. It has 2,200-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a basement area, crawl space, raised basement, enclosed porch, finished three quarter-story and finished upper story.
The property traded hands in September for $1,600,000. It had previously traded for $530,000 in 1989. The property’s current assessment is $655,400.
Prospect Road connects Greens Farms Road to Hillspoint Road.
