WESTPORT–The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 36 Hiawatha Lane.
The single-story ranch was built in 1960. It has 1,100-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, a bathroom, basement area and wood deck. The property traded hands in 2006 for $550,000. Previously, it had sold for $370,000 in 2003. The property’s current assessment is $403,000.
Hiawatha Lane is off of Ferry Lane W and Davenport Ave.
