WESTPORT — The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 14 Westway Road. The two-story antique was built in 1850. It has 2,600 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a basement, crawl space, screened porch, stone patio, finished upper story, cabana and an in-ground pool.
The property traded hands in June for $1,450,000. It had previously traded for $675,000 in 1995. The property’s current assessment is $640,100.
