WESTPORT–The Historic District Commission recently approved the issuance of a permit to demolish the house at 1 Sycamore Drive.
The 1 ¼-story cape was built in 1955. It has 1,500-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, two baths, a basement area, a porch, a wood deck and a finished attic extension.
According to town records, the property has stayed in the same family since the early 1990s. The property’s current assessment is $532,200.
Sycamore Drive is off of Sturges Highway.
