I am writing to express my enthusiastic endorsement of Sal Liccione for re-election to Westport’s RTM, District 9. Sal isn’t just a candidate; as so many of us know first-hand, he’s a true champion for our community, someone who genuinely connects with people and brings them together.

I’ve had the honor of having worked with several clients in the heart of Main St. for years, producing events and managing marketing efforts for start-ups and well-established businesses throughout Westport. Meeting Sal was a non-negotiable! And what I came to admire most about him is his unwavering commitment to helping others. He’s always out there, fueled by a desire to uplift those around him and making sure we’re doing okay. These days, that counts for a whole lot. Whether he’s making that first (or fourteenth) friendly introduction of the day or lending a hand to local merchants, his passion for our town really shines through.

Sal has an extraordinary ability to identify and nurture like-minded interests in others, effortlessly bridging gaps between people and ideas. Not to mention, his ability to retain hugely intricate pieces of information like names, dates and numbers is staggering. His instinct for connection has been invaluable, particularly in helping local merchants find their footing in our vibrant town. He’s constantly playing a pivotal role in assisting new stores on Main Street, guiding them through the intricacies of public events like the upcoming Halloween parade. Without his dedication and friendly wing, getting settled and understanding what’s what and who’s who can be far more overwhelming.

Sal also cares deeply about the environment and the genuine well-being of local businesses. He works tirelessly to ensure our community thrives. His dedication, hard work, and proactive approach make him such a valuable asset to all of us in District 9.

Sal Liccione is more than just a candidate; he embodies the heart of Westport. His courage, kindness, determination, and incredible instincts mean he’s always in tune with what our community needs. I wholeheartedly support his re-election and encourage everyone to join me in doing the same!
