Savvy Smoker sales associate Mohemed Hedimy faces a new charge of selling cannabis illegally, after facing the same accusation in March, Westport police said.
The new charge stems from products seized during an April 8, 2025, raid on the store at 940 Post Road East, at the corner of West Parish Road, by the Westport police and the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Drug Control Division. That was the fourth enforcement action taken against the store for allegedly selling cannabis products without a state license and also in violation of town zoning regulations.
Hedimy, 25, of Brooklyn, had been charged after an earlier action at the store on March.
